End your week on a high note by watching one of our recommended movies. They’re either coffee-themed or films where caffeine plays a key role. Whether you’re looking for something light and humorous or dark and suspenseful, we’ve got you covered.

Of course, what better way to enjoy these movies than to buy coffee online and gather with your friends or loved ones.

    Cafe Society

This 2016 film tells the story of Bobby (Jesse Eisenberg), a young man from the Bronx who moves to Hollywood in hopes of making it big in the movie industry. He soon falls in love with Vonnie (Kristen Stewart), a beautiful socialite, and begins working for her powerful father (Steve Carell).

    Coffee and Cigarettes

‘Coffee and Cigarettes’ is a 2003 film that features a collection of 11 short stories, each with its own unique style. It’s directed by Jim Jarmusch and stars Cate Blanchett, Bill Murray and Iggy Pop, among others.

The movie details the relationships between strangers at cafes around the world while they drink coffee together. Some scenes are funny while others are much more serious, touching in nature but they all come together to make one cohesive story about how people interact with each other when there isn’t much else going on in their lives (other than drinking coffee).

    A Coffee in Berlin

This 2012 German film follows Niko Fischer (Tom Schilling), a law school dropout facing an existential crisis. The young man struggles to find purpose and direction in life, and even has a hard time finding coffee.

    Barista

This one’s a documentary directed by Rock Baijnauth. Released in 2016, Barista follows the lives of five baristas who are competing in the United States Barista Championships. It offers a behind-the-scenes look at the coffee industry and the people who work in it.

    Breakfast at Tiffany’s

This 1961 classic stars Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly, a free-spirited New Yorker who loves nothing more than a good cup of coffee.

    Top Gun

Starring Tom Cruise, this 1986 classic tells the story of Maverick, a young fighter pilot who falls for his instructor, Charlotte Blackwood (Kelly McGillis), over cups of coffee.

    Goodfellas

A true gangster classic, this 1990 film tells the story of Henry Hill (Ray Liotta), a young man from Brooklyn who gets caught up in the world of organised crime. Along the way, he meets plenty of shady characters and enjoys many cups of coffee.

    Pulp Fiction

The award-winning 1994 movie stars John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson as two hitmen who meet at a Los Angeles coffee shop.

    The Bucket List

Like ‘Pulp Fiction,’ ‘The Bucket List’ features a powerhouse cast, which includes Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. They portray two cancer patients who decide to travel the world and drink coffee at every stop.

    Thor: Ragnarok

This 2017 Marvel movie features a scene where Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) visit a cafe in Asgard that serves coffee with ‘infinite cream.’

Which one of these films have you seen already or will look to watch this weekend? Whether you’re a coffee lover or not, these movies are sure to entertain. Of course, you’ll appreciate them more if you’re a caffeine aficionado or simply enjoy a good cup every morning.
